Korn/Ferry International, Middle East announces staffing changes

Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), the premier provider of executive search, outsourced recruiting and leadership development solutions, has increased its staff capacity in response to its Middle East operation requirements.

Since opening its Dubai office in September 2004, Korn/Ferry International, Middle East has continued to foster new and develop existing relations with many of the region's leading organizations. This relationship building has seen the recent promotion of David Myers to Client Partner and recruitment of Deborah Webster as a Consultant, bringing the number of staff to seven in the Dubai office, with an additional three dedicated research analysts based in the UK.

An established professional with 17 years of experience and an additional seven years of executive search experience, Myers has played a fundamental role in nurturing key client partnerships for Korn/Ferry International. After joining Korn/Ferry International in 1996, he set up a niche executive search consultancy focusing on assisting start-ups to build their Executive Management teams. Since 2003, Myers has worked exclusively in the Korn/Ferry International, Middle East region, where he has executed assignments across all sectors for clients in the Gulf and aided in the continued growth of the company's reputation across the region.

Commenting on the Middle East operation's developments, Metin Mitchell, Managing Director of Korn/Ferry International, Middle East, said, 'It is with great pleasure that we are able to recognize David's proven ability to lead client relationships. His commitment to excellence and dedication to the core values are what make this firm the industry leader.'

'In less than one year the Middle East office has generated a substantial amount of new and sustained business for the global operation. This has led to the requirement of expanding our core team of professionals. The additional appointment of Deborah will be of significant importance to the offices' continued success,' added Mitchell.

Associated with the Middle East since 1973, and with three decades of international experience, Korn/Ferry International, Middle East has also appointed Ray Kelly as Chairman of the Middle East office. Kelly was previously a member of the company's worldwide Executive and European Management Committees and Managing Director of its operation in the UK. In his new capacity, he will also take on the responsibilities of Senior Consultant drawing on his wealth of knowledge in Executive Search and the Middle East markets.

Across Korn/Ferry International globally, 23 employees have been promoted to Senior Client Partner, 12 to Client Partner and four to Vice President at the Corporate level, all effective July 1, 2005. The promoted individuals are based in Korn/Ferry International's offices throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia/Pacific, and represent Korn/Ferry International's Corporate and Search operations.
