Pedersen & Partners, a Central and Eastern European executive search firm, has acquired 100 percent shares of the leading Croatian executive search firm Alter Modus. Alter Modus will change the firm’s name to Pedersen & Partners, and the current Pedersen & Partners subsidiary will be phased out. The owner and manager of Alter Modus, Sanja Brkic-Fakles, will join Pedersen & Partners along with her team and business activities. Ms. Brkic-Fakles will maintain the title of country manager for Pedersen & Partners, Croatia. Horton Completes Searches For Insurity Division of ChoicePoint

Executive search firm Horton International has recruited JulieAnn Derby as vice president and chief project officer and Laure Dickson as vice president of technology operations for the Insurity Division at ChoicePoint. Ms. Derby was previously a senior technology executive with The Travelers, Level (3) Communications and Accenture. Ms. Dickson held positions as CIO at Quanta Capital Holdings and at Gulf Insurance Group. The searches were completed by Horton International managing director Pat Racz. ChoicePoint provides businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations with technology, software, information and marketing services to help manage economic and physical risks as well as identify business opportunities. Horton International is a retained executive search firm that recruits senior-level management for all industries.
