KINSEY ALLEN INTERNATIONAL OPENS BOSTON OFFICE

Executive search firm Kinsey Allen has opened a new office in Boston.  Kinsey Allen International says the office will focus initially on key hires within the asset management market and will employ five members of staff by the end of the year. 

The office will be run by new hire Katie Vande Water, who joins as Director and Head of Asset Management – US.  Vande Water previously worked in in-house search for Wellington Management Company LLC, Putnam Investments and spent several years with a global executive search firm.  She will report into Zak Allom, Global Head of Asset Management and Managing Director of Kinsey Allen International Hong Kong. 

Ken Brotherston, CEO of Kinsey Allen International says, “Boston is the command centre of investment management in the US.  The city is also New England’s financial and business hub, so we see this as playing an important part in our expansion across the country.  Our approach of deep functional and market knowledge - which is so rare in search consultancies - will hold us in as good stead there as it has in New York.  And Katie’s excellent pedigree in asset management recruitment will play a significant part in the Boston office’s success.

At the Annual General Meeting of Dillistone recently held, Mike Love, Chairman of Dillistone, made the following trading statement: "The directors of Dillistone ("Directors" or "Board") are pleased to report that the Company has enjoyed an excellent start to the year, with incoming orders in the first four months being more than double the level achieved in the equivalent period of last year.  While the market remains somewhat patchy, and prudently we should anticipate that some periods will be stronger than others, this positive start nevertheless gives the Board reason to believe that non-recurring revenues are likely to be higher in 2010 than in 2009.  As stated in our 2009 results, recurring revenue was the highest it had ever been in 2009 and we currently expect 2010 to exceed this level.”

"Dillistone remains debt free. Our ongoing investment in product development expenditure on FILEFINDER underlines Dillistone's commitment to maintaining a market leading position and makes the Board confident about the long term performance of the business. Given the Company's strong balance sheet, and subject to continued satisfactory trading, it is the Directors intention to maintain dividend payments in 2010 at 2009 levels," he stated.

Giles has 35 years' experience in the passenger transport industry. Having been one of the founders of Prism Rail PLC he then led that group as chief executive from its formation through to its sale to National Express PLC in 2000. Giles additionally served as chairman of ATOC in 1999 and 2000.  Giles led a management buy-out of Blazefield Holdings in 1991, encompassing a portfolio of bus businesses across Yorkshire and Lancashire. Having sold the group to Transdev plc in early 2006, he stayed on as its chief executive for a further two years.  Giles was President of the Confederation of Passenger Transport (UK) in 2008 and in April 2009 was appointed its first Non-Executive Chairman.

FiveTen Boosts Marketing Team With Hires From BBC And City Search Firm

Recruitment consultancy FiveTen Group has appointed Adam Nicoll, former Kinsey Allen International Marketing Director, and Monami Bose, BBC Communications Manager, to its marketing and communications team. 

Nicoll, a veteran recruitment marketeer, will become Head of Marketing for the company’s European, Middle Eastern and African region.  He will be responsible for defining and developing FiveTen’s marketing, brand and visual strategy.  Before rebranding Kinsey Allen International at the end of 2009, Nicoll ran the marketing function at specialist risk, tax and legal recruiterGRS, having worked as the Marketing Manager at Badenoch & Clark previously.  Before moving into the recruitment industry, Nicoll drove business development at Allen & Overy after some years at KPMG, where he worked as a Marketing Manager for their website building operation, Metrius Europe. 

Bose has been hired as Group Internal Communications Manager and will oversee the employee communications strategy for FiveTen’s specialist recruitment brands, enhancing the Group’s sense of global community. She has ten years’ communications experience working for the BBC and BT. 
Both Bose and Nicoll, who were recruited by specialist marketing recruiter EMR, will report into Jonathan Warnock, Commercial Director.

UK Job Site CVSearch.co.uk Extends Free Job Listings For All Recruiters

This month, www.cvsearch.co.uk has announced that they are extending their free job listing trail throughout May & June 2010!

CVSearch.co.uk was built with the aim to make the recruitment process as simple and easy as possible for recruiters, in partnership with its jobseeker portal www.cvdatabase.co.uk.
Since its launch, the site has attracted over 300 recruitment companies, listing over 1000 jobs. Managing Director Sam Rawson said “We’ve had a great response to the launch, with so many recruiters signing up and listing their vacancies, it’s given us a great base to attract jobseekers onto the site.”
